A special start to the 2025 academic year as Western Cape leaders inspire our pupils for the journey ahead.
Timour Hall Primary School had the honour of welcoming Western Cape Premier Alan Winde and Education MEC David Maynier to our campus. Their visit marked the start of a new academic year, bringing words of encouragement and inspiration to our pupils, staff, and community.
In a tour of our facilities, the Premier and MEC were introduced to our learning spaces, including our innovative technology hub, where the words above the doorway — “The sky is not the limit, it’s just the beginning” — capture our school’s belief in limitless potential.
Speaking to our new pupils, Premier Winde encouraged them to embrace every opportunity, reminding them that education is the key to shaping their future. MEC Maynier echoed this, praising Timour Hall’s commitment to excellence and the warm, inclusive atmosphere that welcomes every child.
For our learners, the visit was more than ceremonial — it was a reminder that they are part of something bigger, a provincial education vision committed to equipping young people to succeed in a fast-changing world.
We thank Premier Winde and MEC Maynier for making time to invest in our school community. Their presence set a tone of confidence and hope for 2025, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.
